About the film

As the full-scale war in Ukraine forces millions to flee, rescuers move in the opposite direction — toward destroyed villages, active shelling, and mined roads — to save animals left behind when humans are forced to escape. Amid collapsing buildings, deserted streets, and under relentless threat, survival and compassion intersect and reveal extraordinary acts of courage and the often-overlooked humanitarian stakes of animal rescue during conflict.
