When I was in Toronto recently, I came across this injured rat on the sidewalk.

It was frigid outside. She could barely move. She had nowhere to go. 😟

It was disheartening to see so many people just walk by. 💔

I got on my phone and after about 20 minutes of calling around, I found a wildlife rehab center (@torontowildlifecentre) willing to take her in!

Don't assume someone else will do something when you see a vulnerable animal in need. Take action yourself. They need it. 🧡
